Rachel and I met Nicole at Cochlear™ Celebration 2009 in Anaheim, California.  Nicole is a student who hopes to pursue a graduate degree in nursing.  She is also a talented dancer who has performed with many professional companies as well as shared her love of dance with deaf and hard of hearing children at Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES), a School for the Deaf affiliated with Gallaudet University.  She volunteered for over four years with KDES and the National Deaf Dance Academy.
