This past summer, on my way to France, I stayed with Vivie, the Greek CI blogger, for a few days in Greece. We certainly did experience lots of great laughter, especially when we got hit by the old granny who called our CIs the strange earrings, ate wonderful Greek food, swam in the most beautiful ocean, and got lost at the top of the Acropolis! I filmed Vivie speaking about her cochlear implant experiences in English, her SECOND language. I have to say that considering that she grew up with hearing aids all her life and didn’t have the best quality hearing from them, her learning a second language is darn good!
