Web Conference: Listening and Making Music with a Hearing Loss: Issues for Cochlear Implant Users

The Association of Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss will be hosting a web conference on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 1-3:30 pm Eastern time on the topic “Listening and Making Music with a Hearing Loss: Issues for Cochlear Implant Users”

They will feature several presentations on research studies on listening to music with cochlear implants and end with a panel of musicians who have cochlear implants. The intended audience for this web conference are audiologists who are not familiar with the impact of cochlear implants on music perception, and consumers and musicians who have hearing loss and are curious about the impact of cochlear implants on music listening and music performance.
